After almost a year of being engaged, Ebby and Sha tied the knot on 17 January 2015! Congratulations! The above picture is of #syadhil and #ebbysha. Lol. I have been friends with Ebby since foundation. We were in the same Arab class (and almost every other subject) in CFS IIUM. I remember how close we were in ATOPOMPOM (don't ask) that I used to hangout with him before he even met the Husband. But now, they're best friends. And as fate would have it, Sha and I share the same name (although different spelling) and the same wedding date and many more things.

This is #syadhil before we became #syadhil. Haha.

This interview was done by iMoments after our solemnization. Sorry if I sound weird. I actually, am weird. Lol. I've prepared for this post since I've received the videos but I just never came around to it. But the holidays makes it easy for me to seat down and do some editing. It's not perfect, but it is enough to get the message across.

This is a question that have been posed to me numerous times before. I have failed to answer the question because I really don't know.

So then, how did we end up getting married at 20?

The ultimate question people sometimes ask when planning a wedding is: Do you need a videographer for your wedding?

Yes. You need a wedding videographer, especially during the solemnization. You'd want to be able to see the moments. Especially if you're like me. I wanted to know about everyone who came and what was happening at my wedding. But, of course, this is my opinion.

On the downside: You’d think it was difficult to find a wedding photographer. But finding a videographer was worst. 

CONCEPT

The concept was formal, relaxed and contemporary. 

At first, I thought of going all out English style but then again you can’t have a wedding without a pelamin, they said. My initial idea was to not have one. But we had one anyway due to popular demands.

Oh, boy. This is going to be a long one. Are you ready for it?

I had been dreaming of the perfect wedding dress since I knew about wedding dresses. It's your once in a lifetime dress! It was very difficult for me to make a choice on the designer as well as the design. At one point, I didn't even know what I wanted. I just wanted to have every gorgeous dress I could find!

Wedding photography is expensive. I can vouch for that. But the reason that they are expensive is because they are good at what they do, some more than others. I found my photographer way before the engagement. He was recommended by my best friend (one of my bridesmaids obviously), Adlin. He did her cousin's wedding and when I saw his portfolio, I fell in love with his work.

In my last post (click here), at 0000 Hours of 2015, I shared with everyone the two words that I hold on to in life. For perseverance. And for strength.

2015 has arrived and what an amazing year it has been! Lol. The past few days have been very productive for me, exams aside (I haven't been studying so much!). It got me thinking about how the events in 2014, my hard work and productivity, had led me to a wonderful start to this year. So I decided to make this list as a constant reminder for me to stay in the game.

Aku teringat tiba-tiba zaman jahil kita dulu. 

Macam lah sekarang ni tak. 

Tapi. Aku ingat rasa bahagia dulu. Sekarang, aku lebih bahagia. Kerana aku tahu, aku seorang yang tabah. Kalau tak, tak mungkin aku masih boleh berdiri. 

Memori tak boleh padam, kan? 

So make the best out of it. And have fun while you're at it. Let's face it. No one wants to look back and regret how we ignored when they said, "Run as fast as you can." 

But, remember, sure we'll look back at the laughter and cry. But I promise, you can look back at the tears and laugh. I did it.  Cheers!"
